The event was a culmination of a coordinated series of actions and activities throughout the Chicago area during December.
December 18, 2002 - Chicago, IL - More than 2,000 Chicago area residents protested against possible war with Iraq on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002. The vigil at St. James Cathedral and candlelight march to a plaza along the Chicago River came two weeks after the city's top religious leasers, including those from Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths, drafted a joint letter urging President Bush (news - web sites) not to go to war with Iraq.
